died ten years ago today because of homophobia.

May his memoy be eternal.

Congress has yet to pass the Matthew Shepherd Hate Crime Bill.

Pray for Matthew's family.

Pray for the those who murdered him, and their families.

Pray for all the victims of homophobia throughout the world.

*The early Christians referred to the date of one's martyrdom (later just the day of death) as the person's "Birthday in the Lord" - in Latin "Natalis in Domino" and abbreviated it on tombstones simply as NID.
