TEC mourns a pioneer

At the Houston General Convenion in 1970, women delegates were seated for the first time. One of those pioneer delegates was Janet Ask (pronounced Ja-NETT).

Mrs. Ask died 9 October in Hastings Minnesota.

In addition to being a delegate from 1970 - 1978, she was a UTO representative for the Northern Michigan area and was chair of the UTO in the Fifth Province. Janet also served on the Executive Council from 1985-1987. Janet was also a communicant of St. James' in Ste. Marie, Michigan (Dio N. Michigan).

Thank God for the example of Janet and the millions of women like her. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
